Thanks for the wood burner dad!

So, these are just a few of the MANY things i have enjoyed burning with the awesome wood burner that my dad gave me years ago. Who knew that it would become one of my favorite things ever! So simple and yet so incredible! Loving burning scripture, words, letters, and other things into wood! I will post more later of the many creations ;)

"RISE" Night of Worship

I honestly LOVE getting to create backdrops or set pieces for Kairos! What a blessing that i get to use my creativity in this current job. I feel that props and changing the staging can also enhance the worship experience and help get the message across to the audience even more.  
I am kinda proud of these letters I made for our "Easter Experience" Night of Worship. They are actually "marqee" lettering but i need a closer pic! They are made of cardboard, poster board, and lots of tape;) I spent my 31st birthday creating them for this night, so they are pretty special to me and i LOVED the way they turned out. They actually do look like galvanized rust! 
Next time i am making some for the casa!.....a bit smaller.

With my middle name being "Joy" and the fact that I feel that God has given me the gift that i must share with others...."Joy" is something that I want to share and also show you how God fills me up! Joy isn't being "happy" b/c it is not circumstances that give you brief joy...it is God.
I love to "craft" and create in a unique way but realized as I have been selling many of my creations for years, i have never shared online what i create....so, here are some of the things that I love to do.  Do something creative every day and just find a creative outlet.
